Mmmm...

My coffee was wonderful this morning :)  I savored every drip!  I got some things accomplished in the dungeon last night.  I worked a little on a mini book, and some more trees (green ones with apples) and got some goodies packaged up to send out to some friends.  Tonight I really need to finish up another project and then it's time to sort the SPS kits for November :)

Alrighty local ladies - do you want the 8th or the 15th for a get together??  Daytime or evening?  Let me know (I will e-mail you all too) and we can make a date!!  Jenn S - I wish you could come down for the weekend!!!

7th heaven...

It's back!  Pumpkin Spice coffee creamer by International Delights :)  I found it tonight at Safeway and all night I have been waiting to set my alarm and jump into bed because that means that I am closer to morning so I can enjoy my favorite coffee creamer of all time, mmm...  I can smell the coffee already :)

So for all you locals - when do you want to scrap?  A Saturday during the day or at night? Just let me know and I will pull it together in the next couple of weeks before I am off for surgery.  Yep, it's my turn now.  I am having my "female parts" removed in a few weeks.  I CAN'T WAIT!!  Take it, I am totally NOT attached to my uterus in any way shape or form, well I guess I am physically, but emotionally - heck no!   Plus it helps that I have the cutest OB-GYN in the Bozeman area, thanks Jen K for the referral!

I was having lunch last week at the hospital cafeteria with friends and he came in.  He stopped by our table and said hello and my friends were swooning.  Then they found out he was my doctor!  It was a pretty comical scene :)

Scraproom revealed...

I know some have been wanting to see this for a while (Jenn S) and I am sure other are curious.  I don't have anything fancy, and remember it's an unfinished basement - which is why I affectionately call it my dungeon.  All in all I think I have a good set up, I have several tables if I want to have friends over, I have a ton of cardstock and all my stuff is pretty close at hand.  The first pic is my currently messy table with an unfinished project :)

The whole view, well not really.  But this shows what is directly behind me when I scrap.  I used to scrap at the table in the pictures, but it's bar stool heigth and my son broke the bar stool.  I just haven't found a suitable replacement that's comfortable so I scrap at my set of three tables put together in the middle of the room.

 

This one is with my armoire open, see all those paper trays?  That's my patterned paper.  The rest is more embellies and photo storage.  The bins above hold my inks and more stamps.  And then there's that rack of cardstock I was talking about :)

 

 

And even more storage to the left of the paper rack.  I keep all of our memorbilia that's not in our albums in the plastic bins and there are a few albums there as well.  I recently acquired the wicker rack and I am not quite sure how I am going to use it yet (which is why it's not full!)

Not shown and to the right of all this is where I have a desk with my sewing machine and then my grandmother's buffet that I also use as storage.  It's also where I have taken several pictures for my etsy creations.  So there you have it, nothing fancy but I like it.  So who wants to come scrap with me??

hmmm.....

To do or not to do that is the question...  My to do list that is.  It seems like it NEVER gets shorter!  I did accomplish some things on it so far today, but then I think, hey, it's Sunday, the guys are gone and I can do what ever I want!!  So you know what I did?  Watch Lifetime and eat popcorn!!

Pumpkin Spice...

I LOVE this time of year.  The leaves are falling, the mornings are crisp the afternoons are warm and breezy and International Delight is selling my favorite coffee cream of all time - Pumpkin Spice, ahhh...  Kris knows how much I love pumpkin spice and last week he did the sweetest thing for me.  He bought me some pumpkin spice coffee from World Market :)  What a kid!

I have been taking a huge break this week from my bloggy and etsy duties.  I have to get all those great denim posies done for the SPS kit and every night I have either been cutting felt or sewing buttons :)  The bag is starting to get really full with them and it's fun to see all the colors together.  I will have to post some pictures of them for you.  I also took some pics of the famous "dungeon" that I should post so you can all see where I create.  Lots of inspiration happening in that place I tell ya!

I am also going to be starting on another project real soon, suspense building....  But I can't tell you yet!!  I can tell you that it's project starring one of my favorite things, recycled denim :)  Hmmm. should I let the guesses begin?  How about a giveaway for the person that guesses the closest.  And Jenn S, you can't post cause you know what it is!!

Monday, Monday and a giveaway :)

So yep, it's was a Monday...  And the funny thing is, it started off GREAT!  I had a great morning, people were commenting on my new bangs (yep that's another thing) and my cute new blazer, I had a great lunch with Kristin at Johnny Carino's and then woops, there went the rug...  I don't want to go into details as it does involve my "day job" but suffice to say my day did not end as nicely as it started.

Ahhh, Sunday...

Man what a perfect weekend.  Lazy, kick back, super incredible fall weather, "me" time, shopping, coffee with friends, ahhh I couldn't have asked for anything better.  I met Kate yesterday morning at City Brew for a caramel latte and then we walked over to Ross.  I found some amazing deals, a rust cord blazer for 14.99, a print shirt to match for 7.99 and a brown cardigan for 13.99, woohoo!  Plus since I have lost weight, I was shopping in a different section! 

Then we headed to the mall and cruised the sale racks at Penneys and Macy's where I did end up finding the perfect grey sweater that I needed to go with a skirt that I can wear again.  Lunch in the mall, a little book shopping for Kristin's birthday, the grocery store and then home.

Today has been just as lazy, a walk with Chevy, haircuts for the guys and I cut out about 200 felt circles for my ongoing SPS project.  Did I get anything done in the dungeon?  Heck no, but that's okay.  I have all next week to work on stuff and as of next Sunday I become a hunting widow for a month.  How was your weekend?

So glad that it's Friday!  I am looking forward to the "me" time this weekend :)  I have some coffee and sweater browsing time lined up with Kate tomorrow morning and then in the afternoon I want to try my hand at this .  I have always wanted to create a skirt from an old pair of pants and I have a couple of pairs that would be perfect for this!   

I am on a super tight budget lately, but I so need to spruce up my wardrobe.  I have lost 20 pounds since July!!  (woohoo for me!!!) and all my fall sweaters are at least 2 years old.  I am hoping to do some serious bargain shopping and come home with several pieces for minimal amount of money tomorrow :)  Old Navy is having a 60% off sale and JC Penney is having a buy one get the next for .88 - wow!!  Plus I will be cruising the racks at Ross for those incredible deals they always have - you just have to look closely and be patient.
